What Is Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)?

The prostate is a walnut-sized organ located below the bladder (where urine storage). The prostate helps to keep the semen. Prostate problems often occur in men aged 50 years or more.

Benign prostate hyperplasia is a nonmalignant (non-cancerous) enlargement of the prostate gland, the common man. This condition is also known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).

The symptoms Usually Arise are:
Some symptoms are difficulty when starting pee, urine slowed, and frequent urination.

Orphanage of Nursing:
If it does not cause severe symptoms usually sufferers not saw his illness. The treatment of BPH usually reserved for people who have significant symptoms.

How Effective is Radiation Therapy For Cancer Sufferers

Radiation is a form of energy powerful posed by radio-active materials, such as cobalt, or by special equipment, such as atomic particle accelerators (linear).

Radiation mainly kills cells that divide quickly and are difficult to repair their DNA (nuclear materials). Cancer cells divide more often than normal cells and are often not able to repair the damage that occurs due to radiation. Therefore, cancer cells are more likely to be killed by radiation than normal cells. However, cancer cells vary in how easy it is to be killed by radiation; some cells are immune and cannot be effectively treated with radiation.

The Type of Radiation Therapy

In the most common form of radiation therapy using light, out on the gamma radiation produced by a linear accelerator. Rarely, radiation light electron and proton is used. Radiation of light proton, which can be focused on specific areas, is very effective in treating certain cancers in the area damaged in normal tissue are important such as; eye, brain, or spinal cord. All types of light radiation are focused on specific areas outside or organs of the body containing cancer. To avoid the normal network hit too much light, some of the light used and network that surrounds it are protected as much as possible. New technology on the outside light radiation, called radiation therapy (IMRT) the intensity of the module.

Radiation therapy is given as a series of light outside of the Division of a balanced dose exceeded a long time. This method increases the deadly effects of radiation on cancer cells on when reducing the effect of the poison on normal cells. The effect of the poison is reduced because normal cells can repair it rapidly between doses where cancer cells cannot. In particular, a man received a dose of radiation each day over a period of 6 to 8 weeks. To ensure that in the same area treated every time, the person is appropriately positioned using the pads of foam or other tools.

On how radiation therapy, radioactive material is injected into the vessels likely to streamed toward cancer (for example, radioactive iodine, which is used in healing on thyroid cancer). Another way of using small pellets (seeds) of radioactive material which is placed directly into the cancer (for example, radioactive palladium used for prostate cancer). This produces great planting of radiation on cancer, but a little bit of radiation to the surrounding tissue. Planting containing short-lived radioactive materials that stop producing radiation after a period of time.

Recently the radioactive material is mixed with a protein called monoclonal antibody, capable of finding cancer cells and fused with them. Radioactive materials are combined into the nucleus antibodies in cancer cells and destroy them.

The Use Of

Radiation therapy plays an important role in curing a wide range of cancer, including lymphoma, Lymphoma Non-Hodgkin's early stages, squamous cell cancer on the head and neck, seminoma (cancer of the testicles), prostate cancer, breast cancer, some form of early stage lung cancer cells in non-small pipe air (larynx) and the prostate, the rate of healing is important with radiation therapy so with operation. Sometimes, radiation therapy combined with other forms of cures. Certain types of chemotherapy drugs on, such as cisplatin, improve the effectiveness of radiation therapy, and medicine is possible given the treatment of radiation.

Radiation therapy can reduce symptoms when not likely recover, just as for bone metastases in tumor and multiple myeloma are very painful in lung cancer, throat, head and neck, and stomach cancer. With the sinking of the tumor while, radiation therapy may relieve symptoms caused by the spread of cancer to the bone, or brain.

Side Effects

Treatment for radiation unfortunately can damage normal tissue around the tumor. Side effects depending on how wide the area to be treated, what dose will be given, and how closely the tumor is sensitive to the network. Network of sensitive i.e. normal cells divide as rapidly; skin, bone marrow, hair follicles, coating on the mouth, throat, and intestinal. Radiation can also damage the ovaries and testicles. The doctor is attempting to measuring the goal of radiation therapy to prevent excessive damage on normal cells.

Symptoms depend on the area that receives radiation and can include fatigue, painful mouth, skin problems (redness, itching, flaking), pain when swallowing, inflammation of the lungs (pneumonitis), hepatitis, gastric problems (nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea), issues pissing (increasing the frequency of the burning when pissing), and low blood count. Radiation on the tumor of the head and neck often cause damage on the surface of the skin as well as on a layer of the mouth and throat. The doctor attempts to identify and treat some symptoms as quickly as possible so that the person is still feel comfortable and can continue treatment.

Basal Cell Carcinoma is a Cancer

Basal Cell Carcinoma is a cancer that comes from the lowest layer of the epidermis.

More than 90% of the cancer to grow in the skin that is routinely exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet shines. Basal cell carcinoma can also be found on the scalp.
Most often appeared at the age of over 40 years.

Other risk factors are:
Genetic factors (often occur on the skin, blue eyes and blonde hair or green or red)
Excessive exposure to x-rays or other shines.

Basal cell carcinoma usually strikes the surface of the skin that is exposed by the rays of the Sun.
The tumor begins as slick a very small bumps (nodules) and grows very slowly, sometimes so slow so as not to be noticed. But the speed of growth in every different tumors and is reaching the size of 2.5 cm within 1 year.

In the middle of the nodules can be formed.
Sometimes the cancer grows horizontally and looks like scarring.
Boundary edge cancer sometimes seemed to turn white.

Cancer may experience bleeding and forming and then cured, so sufferers expect it as the wound and not cancer.
Actually the turn between bleeding and healing it is typical for basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma.

Basal cell carcinoma rarely spreads to a distant part of the body, but more often infiltrate and destroy the surrounding tissue.
If the basal cell carcinoma growing near eyes, mouth, bones or brain, then the invasion of cancers could be very serious.
Removal of the tumor early can prevent damage to the structure beneath.

Diagnosis often can be enforced through its symptoms.

As a standard procedure to reinforce the diagnosis is usually performed a biopsy of the skin.

Usually the cancer was through curettage then burned with electric needles (curettage and electrodessication) or cut with a scalpel.
Previously given injections of anesthesia.

Very rarely do therapy.

For tumor Chan and basal cell carcinoma that resembles scarring, can do microscopic surgery (Mohs surgery).
Protect your skin from the Sun's light using a hat, shirt long sleeves, long pants or long skirts.

The Sun's most powerful is in the middle of the day, because it should avoid the Sun at noon.

Use high-quality sunscreen with SPF 15, at a minimum, that block the UV rays and UV B A.
Apply sunscreen at least half an hour before travel and apply as often as possible.

Check the skin regularly to know the various changes that lead to violence (new growth on the skin that form, easy bleeding, hard to heal, change color, size, structure, feels pain, inflamed or itchy).

Cancer in Overview

Basically, cancer is the change from a cell splitting and number to many uncontrollably. Although the change is reasonable in the body as a process of regeneration of damaged cells are replaced with new ones. However, the control changes the cell no longer functioning normally, then the State is called cancer.

Therefore, cancer is not an infectious disease that occurs because of a bacteria, but rather grow from cells of the organ itself undergoing genetic mutations. The genetic mutation causing the cells to grow abnormally and destructive, i.e. do not follow the rule of law-the law of growth and tend to be destructive.

Cancer can grow anywhere inside the body, including in the throat. However, with the note, not all cancer cells can grow progressively grow elsewhere. This is caused by the immune system (immunity) and also the conditions for growing up in new places not found in the absence of such carcinogens and oxidation by oxidants, such as free radicals.

Just like tumors, cancer has its own clinical characteristics such as the presence of lumps is easy we handle them, weight loss, lack of red blood cells, disorders of the metabolism of carbohydrates, protein and fat. As well, declining taste of soy sauce in a food or drink.

For cancer sufferers, actually support and attention from the family is needed. The attention and support is the sincere can stimulate the hormone work returned to normal later can boost the immune system. Rise of the immunity of the body, means close opportunities for cancer to spread the cells into cells that are still healthy.

However, the treatment of cancer is long-term treatment that cost money and patience without limit, especially when the cancer already reached stage 3 upwards.
